This is a perfect opportunity for the individual to begin or jumpstart their employment and gain valuable work experience for the next chapter of their culinary career.
This is a full-time position, Presently we are open Tuesday through Sunday. It presents a very manageable schedule that will offer opportunities to develop your skills and fundamentals of cooking.
Desired Qualifications but not required;
Completion of vocational school or a two-year associate degree
At least one year of cooking experience
Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
Strong organization and active listening skills
The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time
Exceptional time management skills
Knowledge of basic cooking principles, Classical/modern cooking techniques, and familiarity with current cooking trends. The ability to consistently perform required daily tasks can be trusted and have the ability to set a good example as a professional. Possess a true passion for executing sound cooking principles, and possibly have club experience. As a culinary team member, you will be held accountable to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
