We are looking for an experience Line Cook to join our growing team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy. We are a breakfast-only restaurant: early mornings required, no evenings.
Early mornings are required (6am-6:30am) & weekend availability is expected. The Original Pancake house is open 7 days/week from 7:00 Am-3:00 Pm, closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas Day. We offer company health insurance available, 401K, & paid sick leave.

With pervious experience as a line cook, you can manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. Ideally, you have your Serve-Safe or Food Handler’s certification.
Entry level cooks start at $16.50 per hour. Experienced cooks can earn up to $21.00 per hour. All BOH employees earn tips in addition to their hourly wage. Tips range from $3-$12 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature of ovens, and grills.
Season and cook food according to the recipes or personal judgment and experience.
Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
Team player.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred.
Serve-Safe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
Effective communication skills
Ability to lift 30+ Ibs.
Ability to work standing for 8+ hours.
Must be able to work weekends.
