We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our growing team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy. We are a breakfast-only restaurant: early mornings required, no evenings. Both part-time and full-time positions available.
Early mornings are required (6:30 AM) & weekend availability is expected. The Original Pancake House is open 7 days/week from 7:00 AM-2:00 PM Monday-Friday and 7:00AM- 3:00PM Saturday and Sunday. closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas Day.

This is a Tipped position and those will be distributed on your paycheck. Paychecks are distributed weekly.
Food Handlers card will required.
If you are passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences through great, high-quality food, we would love to hear from you! With previous experience as a Line Cook, you can manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. Ideally, you have your Serve-Safe or Food Handler’s certification.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
Season and cook food according to recipes
Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking
Respond to guest and team feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred
ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
Effective communication skills
Ability to lift 30+ lbs
Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
