We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our growing team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy. We are a breakfast-only restaurant: early mornings required, no evenings.
Early mornings are required (6:15 AM) & weekend availability is expected. The Original Pancake House is open 7 days/week from 7:00 AM-2:00 PM Monday-Friday and 7:00 AM-3:00PM Saturday/Sunday, closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas Day. We offer company health insurance available, 401K, paid sick leave.

Ideally, you have your Serve-Safe or Food Handler’s certification.
Entry level cooks start at $16.78 per hour. Experienced cooks can earn up to $21 per hour. All BOH employees earn tips in addition to their hourly wage. Tips range from $4-6 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, and grills
Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience
Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking
Team player
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred
ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
Effective communication skills
Ability to lift 30+ lbs
Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
Must be able to work weekends
