Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and knives.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Participate in daily kitchen prep tasks and maintain stock levels for all stations.

Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining setting.

Familiarity with culinary techniques and knowledge of various cooking methods.

Experience working as a dietary aide or in catering is a plus but not required.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
