Role Summary:
The line mechanic is responsible for installing and maintaining a variety of automation equipment throughout our cannabis beverage manufacturing facility. The line mechanic is also responsible for training operators, finding ways to enhance and optimize existing equipment, and identifying new equipment that can help gain efficiencies in existing manufacturing processes.

What You've Done:
- A minimum of five years of experience installing, maintaining and operating canning and bottling equipment lines
- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training preferred
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Experience designing CAD files and CNC work is a plus
- Experience with brewery equipment, bottling, and canning is a plus
What You'll be Doing:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on machines used in cannabis beverage production and packaging, including but not limited to weigh scales, labeling machines, pressurized storage vessels, beverage filling machines, cappers, sleeving units, steam tunnels, date coders, conveyor belts, cartoners, and more
- Work closely with other technicians and production staff to ensure that all automation equipment are running optimally and meeting output and uptime goals
- Assist with changeover adjustments as needed
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities in the appropriate logbooks and software applications
- Participate in the development of preventive maintenance schedules for all packaging machines
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate as a member of the safety committee to establish and enforce new safety protocols as needed.
- Identify and research new and emerging automation solutions to improve the quality, efficiency, and cost of manufacturing processes
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including hot and cold temperatures, noisy environments, and confined spaces
