    Job Description

    We have teamed up with a well-known Utility company that is currently seeking to hire an Accounting/Controller/HR Liaison

    Experience required:

    Our client is looking for a team oriented, experienced, tactically minded Accounting & Human Resource Liaison to provide bookkeeping and human resource services. This position's primary responsibility is to manage, monitor, and evaluate all day-to-day accounting and HR activities using QuickBooks Online and Paychex PEO Services.

    • Accounting:

    • Reconciliations

    • Accounts payable

    • Accounts receivable

    • Collections

    • Work In Progress

    • Financial Analysis

    • Reporting

    • Research

    • Fixed Assets

    • Vendor Account Management

    • Prepare QBO & Attend CPA quarterly Meetings

    • Credit Card Audit

    • Fraud Detection

    • Human Resources:

    • Payroll

    • On and Off Boarding

    • Performance Appraisals

    • Growth Plans

    • Maintain Employees files

    • Workers Compensation & Unemployment Claims

    Technical:

    • Proficient knowledge of Accounting Principles
    • Excellent Computer skills primarily with QuickBooks Online and Excel spreadsheets
    • Minimum 5+ years accounting experience
    • Strong Attention to Details and accuracy
    • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
    • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft office software and Dropbox

    LOCATION: HOUSTON, TX 77049

    PAY RATE: 70K-90K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
