LionTree is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to utilize their artistic abilities to communicate ideas, inform clients and help create LionTree’s design process. Kindred Media & LionTree LLC seek an analytical and skilled writer to cover trends in media, tech and business and to assist the firm’s broader Public Markets business in New York, NY.   Work as a lead content contributor for Kindred Media and as part of the Institutional Investor Membership (“IIM”) team, covering the telecom, media, and technology (“TMT”) sectors at boutique investment banking and advisory firm, LionTree LLC.   Job Description: The primary responsibility will be to create editorial content that covers a wide range of topics in the media, tech and business sectors. This role will be responsible for 1) assisting in the preparation of a weekly TMT thematic newsletter which is distributed to the firm’s top clients which include public and private company executives, private equity and venture capital investors, and large institutional investors; and 2) creating daily content for Kindred Media, to be distributed on social media platforms, the firm’s “KindredCast” mobile app, and other channels.   Key responsibilities include: Keep abreast of TMT industry-related news flow Synthesize and summarize large amounts of information Analyze implications of news/industry developments/earnings results to companies in the industry Facilitate the creation of written research, including helping with due diligence and idea generation Be a self-starter to create and cover daily trends in editorial, as well as guide social media coverage Cover breaking news, as well as write feature stories, profiles of major media personalities and analytical pieces
