We are seeking an energetic and experienced Literacy Teacher to join our team Thrive Center! As a Literacy teacher, you will lead a class of students through a successful school year, creating and implementing a comprehensive educational curriculum. The ideal candidate will help develop literacy skills and promote a love for reading and writing in students. This position requires a strong educational background, the ability to engage with students to enhance their learning experience, and current certification in literacy.

Responsibilities:

Teach reading and writing skills to students of varying age groups and abilities.

Develop lesson plans and curriculum tailored to student needs.

Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic success.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure students' overall academic development.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Literacy, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Certification in Literacy or Reading Specialist (if applicable in your state).

Proven experience in teaching literacy or related subjects.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work with diverse student populations.

A passion for helping students develop their reading and writing abilities.

Certificate in literacy
