Rajan Legal PC is seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney to lead our general litigation practice group. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work on a variety of matters and use their skills over a range of case types.
Responsibilities:
· Manage a diverse caseload from initial consultation to conclusion with minimal supervision;
· Handle all aspects of Law division, Chancery, Special Civil, Landlord/Tenant and Matrimonial cases;
· Provide expert legal advice to clients;
· Draft pleadings, briefs, correspondence, and responding to written discovery.
· Conduct depositions, attend oral argument, and handle all aspects of trial/arbitration preparation.
· Represent clients in court proceedings and effectively advocate on their behalf;
· Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients; and
· Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions.
Qualifications:
· Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school;
· Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar;
· 5+ years of litigation experience with a proven track record of success;
· Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills;
· Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure; and
· Experience with Appellate Court matters is a plus but not required.
