Responsibilities: • Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information • Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary • Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system • Investigate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly • Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation Qualifications: • A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary • Computer proficiency is essential • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred • State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory • Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative Compensation: $150,000 - $400,000
