Successful applicants must be familiar with all aspects of pre-trial and trial procedures, particularly drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and working toward resolution of cases both in court and out of court. Responsibilities: • Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws • Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions • Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions • Counsel associates to resolve or prevent conflicts Qualifications: • Four-year bachelor’s degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law school • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills • Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience • Member of state and local bar associations in good standing • Able to work independently while handling multiple files • Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry Compensation: $150,000 yearly
