Responsibilities: • Appear as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation • Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system • Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary • Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly • Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information Qualifications: • Must be computer proficient • Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued • 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed • Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative • A bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required • State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory Compensation: $100,000
