    Bernkopf Goodman LLP is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Litigation Assistant to join our team. Our office is located in the Seaport and our staff may work a hybrid schedule. The successful candidate will provide essential support to attorneys in preparing and managing litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal procedures, excellent organizational skills, and keen attention to detail to assist with all aspects of case preparation and management. Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities • Case Management: Intake and management of cases, including organizing mail and electronic communications, and maintaining accurate records. • Scheduling: Coordinate hearings, depositions, and meetings, and calendaring filing deadlines and court appearances, ensuring attorneys’ calendars are up to date and are well-prepared and have all necessary materials. • File Management: Establishing and organizing electronic files, maintaining and monitoring electronic calendars, tracking deadlines, documenting actions, and inputting information into file database. • Document Preparation: Prepare, edit and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and settlement agreements. Preparing and forwarding documents and pleadings as required. • Court Filings: Prepare, file, and serve pleadings, including e-filing in both state and federal courts and filing and service of Superior Court Rule 9A motion packages in Superior Court. • Administrative Support: Scheduling both in-person and virtual appointments and meetings with clients and others, making travel arrangements, answering phones, and engaging with clients and court personnel. Qualifications: • At least two years of relevant legal experience in litigation required. • Advanced user of MS Office programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel. • Proficient in Adobe or similar PDF editing. • Proficient with preparing Rule 9A motion packages for filing in the Mass. Superior Courts and proficient in e-filing in both federal and state courts. • Experience with business, contract, real estate, or construction disputes is a plus. Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 yearly
