    We are in search of a skilled Litigation Paralegal specializing in habitability law to join our team in Burbank, CA. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Spanish and possess a solid foundation in tenant rights, housing laws, and personal injury litigation concerning uninhabitable conditions. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with our attorneys on tenant habitability cases, conducting legal research, preparing and filing court documents, examining discovery materials, managing case records, and engaging with clients and witnesses. This role requires a proactive and organized approach, as well as exceptional communication skills to thrive in our dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Draft, compile, and oversee case files and legal documents, such as complaints, pleadings, and motions, ensuring accuracy and completeness • Schedule and coordinate meetings with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for cases • Evaluate evidence, summarize key findings, and organize case materials in preparation for trials • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, collect essential details, and foster strong client relationships • Support attorneys in trial readiness by arranging exhibits and preparing trial binders efficiently Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification required • Minimum of 2 of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on habitability law, preferred • Strong knowledge of habitability laws, tenant rights, and landlord-tenant disputes • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bilingual in Spanish • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in case management software, Microsoft Office, and other legal research tools Compensation: $28 - $35 hourly
