Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:Case Management: Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. • Client Interaction: Communicate with Spanish-speaking clients to gather information, provide updates, and translate documents as needed. • Document Handling: Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible. • Court Preparation: Coordinate and prepare exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders for court proceedings. • Administrative Support: Schedule depositions, meetings, and court appearances; manage attorney calendars. Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in habitability or tenant rights law. • Language Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English is required. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools. • Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and court filing systems. • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities; attention to detail; and a compassionate approach to client services. Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal • Proficiency in legal research and writing • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Knowledge of e-discovery and case management software • US Work Authorization and bilingual in English/Spanish Compensation: $28 - $35 hourly
