    Growing Chicago firm in the West Loop area seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal in the litigation department. Position provides heavy client contact and the ability to hone litigation skills. Responsibilities: Pleadings • Draft pleadings, summons, complaints, notices of filings, notices of motion, and supporting affidavits. • Prepare draft court orders. • E-file pleadings with the court. • Calendar hearing dates and filing deadlines. • Organize case files. Discovery • Draft interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admissions, and other discovery. • Client contact to develop responses and other requests. • Calendar discovery deadlines. • Organize, review, and analyze documents for production. • Prepare deposition summaries. Pre-Trial • Prepare and issue subpoenas. • Manage scheduling and communication for depositions. Trial • Organize exhibits, documents, and evidence. • Prepare and issue subpoenas. • Act as liaison between clients, witnesses, experts, and the trial team. Qualifications: • Critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills are essential. • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook is a must. • Bachelor's degree holders will be given preference, although paralegal certification is desirable. • Prior paralegal experience of two years is preferred. Compensation: $55,000 to $70,000
