Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys with various aspects of case preparation, including managing case files, organizing documents, and maintaining client records. • Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, motions, and trial exhibits by drafting, reviewing, and filing them. • Act as a liaison between attorneys and clients, ensuring effective communication, providing updates, and keeping clients informed about their cases. • Manage the discovery process which involves organizing and reviewing documents, preparing discovery responses, and coordinating depositions for cases. • Aid in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, creating witness lists, compiling trial binders, and providing support during trial proceedings for attorneys. • Perform administrative tasks like scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence to support the legal team efficiently. Qualifications: • To be considered for the position of Litigation Paralegal, a candidate must hold an Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree. • The ideal applicant should have at least 3 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal, focusing on personal injury law.
