Responsibilities: • Case Management : Assist attorneys in managing complex litigation cases, including organizing documents, maintaining case files, and tracking deadlines • Legal Research : Conduct legal research using various databases and online resources to support case preparation • Document Preparation : Draft and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence • Discovery : Assist in the discovery process by collecting, reviewing, and summarizing documents and deposition transcripts • Client Interaction : Communicate with clients, witnesses, courts, and opposing counsel professionally and effectively • Court Filings : File legal documents with courts and agencies and ensure compliance with local rules • Trial Support : Provide support during trials, including preparing trial exhibits and assisting with courtroom logistics Qualifications: • Organizational skills, focus, and a strong work ethic are the most important qualifications for this position • Paralegal certification by an ABA-approved program is a plus • Must have 2-3 years civil litigation of experience, preferably in commercial/business litigation • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Compensation: $60,000+ yearly based on experience.
