Responsibilities: • Oversee all legal calendar deadlines and case milestones for the firm. • Efficiently coordinate legal appointments, court appearances, and related tasks. • Prioritize and manage case workloads effectively. • Handle and prioritize client communications through phone and email. • Update and maintain client records in the firm’s case management system. • Organize both physical and electronic client case files with attention to detail. • Draft legal documents accurately for meetings, depositions, and hearings. • Prepare discovery materials and respond to discovery requests. • Assist attorneys with legal research and cite-checking duties. • Conduct in-depth factual investigations and analyze case issues. • Keep clients proactively updated and informed about case progress. • Communicate with courts, couriers, and litigation support vendors as needed. • Support all phases of case preparation, from discovery to trial. • Prepare trial binders and manage trial exhibit coordination with precision. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a preference for experience in insurance bad faith cases. • A Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification are preferred. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 365 and experienced with office equipment, including multi-line phone systems, desktop computers, fax machines, and scanners/printers. • Highly organized, efficient, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively. • A positive, solution-oriented problem solver. • A team player, ready to take on any task as needed. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 + bonuses
