Responsibilities: Case Management & Support • Assist attorneys with all stages of litigation from inception to resolution. • Maintain case files, including physical and electronic organization. • Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures. • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel. Document Preparation & Management • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses. • Prepare case summaries, chronologies, and trial notebooks. • Assist with document production, including reviewing, indexing, and organizing discovery materials. • Utilize document management software for efficient case handling. Discovery & Investigation • Assist with discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas. • Coordinate and summarize depositions, witness interviews, and expert reports. • Gather, analyze, and organize evidence for trial preparation. Trial Preparation & Assistance • Prepare exhibits, witness lists, and pretrial documentation. • Coordinate logistics for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. • Assist attorneys during trial, including managing documents and exhibits. • Draft and issue subpoenas for witnesses and document requests. Client & Administrative Support • Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates, and gathering information. • Prepare correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. • Assist with billing, timekeeping, and case-related expenses. • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive case information. Qualifications: • 10 years plus of litigation experience or Certified paralegal with at least 2 years of experience in breach of contract and/or bad faith insurance claims involving property damage. • A Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification are preferred. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 365 and familiar with office equipment such as multi-line phone systems, desktop computers, fax machines, and scanners/printers. • Highly organized, efficient, and skilled at prioritizing tasks. • A positive, solution-focused problem solver. • A collaborative team player, willing to take on tasks as needed. • Strong written communication abilities, ensuring consistency, attention to detail, and professionalism. Compensation: $70,000 + bonuses
