Lamar Law Office, LLC is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of significant plaintiff's personal injury experience. Candidates with less but extremely meaningful experiences will also be considered. Benefits Include: • Paid Vacation • Medical/Vision/Dental/Others • 401k with matching • Supplemental Health Insurance • Life Insurance • CLE Coverage • Firm Social Gatherings • Extremely pleasant work culture Responsibilities: • Draft pleadings, including complaints, correspondences, and other necessary pleadings • Draft and respond to Discovery • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts • Manage the attorney’s calendar • Manage case deadlines • Maintain case files • Assist with case management • Organize and electronically file pleadings • Prepare exhibits and other documents for court • Copying, scanning, and other administrative work • Assist counsel in the development of trial strategies • Other duties as directed by the litigation and managing attorney Qualifications: • Proficiency in handling all aspects of the litigation process from intake through trial preparation • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team • Willingness to learn about complex processes and related documentation, and to analyze and review documents • Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines • Position requires a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, professionalism, and judgment • High level of attention to detail • Excellent organizational and project management skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Some overtime may be required • Experience with CASEpeer Case Management System a plus • Fluency in Spanish is a plus • Must have prior litigation experience Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 yearly
