Job Summary Hosharian Law Firm, a personal injury firm based in Burbank, CA, has been serving clients since 1994. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Case Manager/Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our litigation team and assist in all phases of the litigation process.
Key responsibilities:
Assisting attorney with the preparation and filing of legal documents
Preparing Summons and Complaint and statement of damages for filing
Coordinating with process serving companies to facilitate personal service of defendants
Preparing and responding to discovery requests
Assisting attorneys in opposing Demurrers, Motions for Summary Judgment, and other motions
Preparing stipulations to continue trials and mediation briefs
Scheduling CourtCall
Preparing notices for depositions, witnesses, PMKs, and experts, and handling the designation of experts
Coordinating case calendar deadlines using FileVine case management software
Ensuring that case-related documents are well-organized and accessible for review
Conducting legal research and investigations
Providing general administrative support and maintaining up-to-date documentation
Communicating regularly with clients and witnesses to provide case updates
Gathering medical records and bills, following up on treatment progress, and writing settlement demands
Managing Medi-Cal and Medicare liens

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Case Manager/Paralegal
Bachelor’s degree required: Certification or Associate’s Degree as a Paralegal also accepted.
Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with experience in document management
Excellent research skills
Proficient in Office 365, Adobe, Teams, and case management software
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Capable of working with little supervision
Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and a team player with a positive and professional attitude
