    Salary: $550.00 - $600/ weekend. All salaries are Dependent On Experience and References, and all candidates must be comfortable submitting themselves for a Federal Background Check

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a nanny with a private family
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Current certifications in Pediatric First Aid and CPR
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive mindset
    • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for children
    • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
    • Proficiency in meal preparation, focusing on healthy and child-friendly options
    • Experience with infant care, including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines
    • Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate activities
    • Physical ability to lift and carry children, equipment, and supplies as needed

       

      Job Description:

      A warm professional family residing in the heart of Tribeca, New York City, is seeking an exceptional live-in weekend nanny to join their household. They value open communication, mutual respect, and a positive, nurturing environment for their children. The role involves providing top-notch care for two young children: a 6-month-old infant and a 3-year-old toddler. Looking for a nanny who will bring warmth, creativity, and dedication to the care of children. This is a live-in position with comfortable private accommodations provided.


      Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Work hours: Friday 6:30 PM through Sunday 6:30 PM (48 hours)
    • Provide attentive and nurturing care for both children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
    • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children
    • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to any dietary requirements or restrictions
    • Assist with children's laundry and light housekeeping related to childcare
    • Manage children's schedules, including naps, mealtimes, and activities
    • Collaborate with parents to ensure consistent care and discipline strategies
    • Document daily activities, milestones, and any concerns for parental review
    • Accompany children on outings and educational excursions when appropriate
    • Administer medication if required, following strict guidelines
    • Implement knowledge of child psychology and behavior management techniques
    • Incorporate early childhood education principles into daily activities
