    We look for a Leasing Specialist that shares these same values and is passionate about the property management industry. Our company is thriving and expanding, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Leasing Specialist to join our team! An ideal candidate is results-driven, has a positive attitude, adapts quickly to change, and values teamwork.

    As a Leasing Specialist, your primary responsibilities include:

    _Leasing _

    • Maintain a positive, productive relationship with current and future tenants
    • Conduct tours, perform follow up communication, and diligently pursue the close of the lease with prospective residents
    • Coordinate new residents' move-in, obtaining signatures for completion of lease paperwork
    • Help orchestrate resident move-in and move-out
    • Educate new residents on policies and community rules
    • Maintain the organization of office files and systems containing leasing and resident information
    • Greet prospective residents, qualify prospective students for residency, and determine any resident's needs
    • Promptly answer and return incoming calls and emails regarding apartments and availability
    • Validate application information and references for our student housing, market-rate, and affordable housing projects
    • Perform unit inspections 
    • Help facilitate the turnover of all units, including coordinating with painters, cleaners, and maintenance teams. 
    • Coordinate and participate in the company's training, activities, and events

    Office Management

    • Maintain an environment centered around resident and client service and experience through friendliness, cleanliness, and efficiency
    • Serve as the front-line communicator to residents and clients regarding maintenance, accounts receivable and payable, leasing, inquiries, etc
    • Own and maintain organized paper and electronic filing
    • Provide general administrative support to upper management

    An ideal candidate will have:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent - Bachelor’s in a related field preferred.
    • Proven work experience as Leasing Consultant; 3+ years of experience in the property management, customer service, and/or hospitality industries preferred.
    • Full understanding of office flow/management with a focus in leasing procedures..
    • Basic knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management.
    • Affordable Housing rules and regulation knowledge is preferred. 
    • Prior Lease-up experience. 
    • An impeccable client and customer relationship track record. 
    • Proficiency with software (Appfolio preferred).
    • Competency in MS Office, including Excel, and relevant databases and software.
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Excellent time management and organization skills.
