A family in Livingston is looking for a caregiver for their 3-year-old child. They are looking for care from approximately 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm 3 to 4 days a week, with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends. The schedule can be flexible based on the caregiver’s needs.

Duties:
Providing general care for the child. Assisting with transportation needs to school and other activities. Assisting with household duties including basic tidying after the child, updating the grocery/shopping list, family laundry, and helping maintain an organized space. Light meal preparation for the child. Supporting the child through emotional and social development. Being vigilant in regard to the child’s allergies and avoiding known allergens.

Ideal nanny:
The ideal nanny for this home is steady, kind, and capable. Someone who is able to lead with a calm confidence and follow the child’s lead while offering gentle structure. This nanny should be experienced with toddlers and able to help regulate emotions (due to his separation anxiety). Someone who is warm, reliable, and engages in child-led play. This 3-year-old is curious and loves to learn. He enjoys climbing, worms, and being around the house. He is allergic to seeds, gluten, and dairy, and is experiencing some sensory issues with food.
