MoboTrex has an opportunity to join our growing organization as a full-time / temp to hire Load Bay Test Technician at our location in Pflugerville, Texas.

The primary objective of the Load Bay Test Technician is to ensure all load bay assemblies pass the WeeTech process and meet quality standards.

The Load Bay Test Technician ensures all load bay assemblies pass the WeeTech process and meet quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Read point to point electrical diagrams, bill of materials and other production instructions
2. Run WeeTech Tester and trouble-shoot all failures; rework failures to pass
3. Ensure quality inspection is performed on all load bays
4. Inspect for solder quality, insufficient solder, burnt wires and broken or cracked blocks
5. Adjust, repair or replace wiring or electrical components to correct defects and to ensure conformance with specifications
6. Cut to length, strip, tin and crimp wire
7. Use powered and unpowered hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, crimpers and wrenches, drills, shear, powered screwdrivers
8. Interpret available blueprints, diagrams and instruction bullet points and assemble subassemblies
9. Accurately eliminate and route wires at the designated locations as described by an electrical diagram
10. Solder wires to specified points
11. Complete inventory-tracking paperwork
12. Participate in continuous improvement efforts
13. Cross train in other areas such as signals and fabrication
14. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma/GED, relevant electronics/assembly and troubleshooting experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Must have an aptitude for electronic control equipment
2. Must be able to pay attention to detail consistently
3. Must be able to work in a team environment
4. Must be able to perform all of the essential duties including working from incomplete documentation such as drawings, bills of materials (BOM's), assembly prints, and / or cut lists.
5. Able to communicate effectively with Engineering to support build of the product from partial documentation or red line drawings.
6. Must be able to create a redline drawing and or cut list by supplying the correct information.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of worked at Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm.
Occasional overtime including weekends may be required.
