    Job Location: Syracuse, Liverpool, Camillus, East Syracuse

    Compensation: $20.00-25.00/hourly

    Guaranteed 10 hours weekly

    Year round hours available

    Reports To: Operations Manager

    Job Summary: Operating and maintaining heavy equipment, to efficiently clear snow from designated area. The position involves working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment, ensuring the safe and timely removal of snow to maintain access and safety for vehicles and pedestrians.

    Qualifications:

    Experience: Previous experience operating loaders, front-end loaders, or similar heavy equipment, preferably in snow removal or construction.

    Skills: Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Strong knowledge of snow removal techniques and safety practices.

    Physical Requirements: Ability to work long hours in harsh winter conditions, including snow, cold temperatures, and ice. Must be able to lift and carry equipment or material necessary.

    Licensing: Valid and clean driver's license. Opportunities for increased compensation with a commerical driver's license (CDL). Certification for operating specific heavy machinery may be necessary.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Familiarity with snow removal teqhniques and location geographically.

    Experience with addtional equipment, such as skidsteer, snow plows or salt spreaders.

    Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

    Working Conditions:

    Work is preformed outdoors in winter conditions, which may include snow, ice, and freezing temperatures.

    The role may involve long hours, night shifts, weekends, holidays and emergency call-ins during heavy snow events.

    The job may require occasional overtime, especially during snowstorms.
