The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the loan process, from submission to close, while paying close attention to the compliance of current lending policies and regulations. Position is onsite in Troy, Mi Responsibilities: • Adhere to all lending and regulatory guidelines and policies while preparing the loan file • Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial • Obtain property documentation to process mortgage loan files, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records • Collect and verify necessary financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness • Maintain detailed documentation of the process in our system - from origination to close Qualifications: • Experience in mortgage lending and knowledge of loan types, such as FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans required • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills • Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail • 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required • Experience working as a Processor, Underwriter, and/or Client Care Specialist • Previous Experience as a Processor in a broker model is preferred • Previous experience navigating the UWM portal is preferred • Previous experience managing a pipeline through Salesforce is preferred • Excellent communication and customer service skills - MUST be comfortable on the phone Compensation: $20 -$23+ hourly + Commission
