Training & development
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
Provide expert tracheostomy care, including suctioning, stoma care, and tube changes as needed.
Manage gastrostomy tube (G-tube) care, including formula preparation, feeding, medication administration, and stoma care.
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain ventilator equipment (LTV 1150), ensuring proper settings and patient response.
Administer medications via various routes (PEG tube, SubQ) and monitor for effectiveness and side effects.
Monitor and document vital signs, respiratory status, and other relevant clinical data each shift and as needed.
Maintain oxygen saturation above 92% and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with the patient's multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
Educate and train family members on proper care techniques, equipment use, and emergency protocols.
Maintain meticulous documentation of all nursing interventions, assessments, and patient outcomes.
Implement pressure injury prevention measures and perform regular skin assessments.
