JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Locum Tenens BE/BC Physician interested in working with a care model that delivers exceptional results in post-acute and long-term care at a Skilled Nursing Facility. This position will serve various areas throughout the state of VA. Please see the list of locations that are needed. We are looking for PT or FT. New Grads are Welcome!

Responsibilities:

Start date: Jan 2023

• Six (6) month contract
• Full Time contract up to 40 hrs. per week or Part Time contract 1-3 days/week
• M-F 8a-5p; 4 hours on site and 4 hours home for dictation/notes
• MD handles signing off on admissions and patient recertification
• Pre-rounds and full H&P performed by NP; med management/stabilization
• Serves in a support role for the NP for chronic patients
• Coordinate and provide exceptional and appropriate care to patients
• ADC 20-22 patients/day
• EMR: Gehrimed; Facility uses Point Click Care; training provided
• Ability to document on site or at home; laptop provided; document within 24-48hrs max.

Qualifications:

• Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, Primary Care
• Active/clear Virginia Medical License
• Unencumbered DEA license required
• Self-motivated, directed, flexible and a team player
• Ability to chart daily visits in an EMR in a timely manner
• Clean Background for expedited credentialing
• Positive attitude and customer service oriented
