    Nurse Practitioner- Clinic- Locum or Perm- WA

    American Consultants is looking for a nurse practitioner for either a locum or perm position for a clinic in Washington State. Must have a current WA license.

    Position Overview:
    The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed healthcare professional who works autonomously or in collaboration with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients in a clinical setting. The NP plays a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions, promoting wellness, and improving patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Patient Care:

      • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
      • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions such as infections, injuries, hypertension, and diabetes.
      • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
      • Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to promote overall well-being.
    2. Collaboration:

      • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
      • Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare services as needed.
    3. Documentation and Compliance:

      • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with clinic policies and legal requirements.
      • Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
    4. Quality Improvement:

      • Participate in clinic initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
      • Stay updated on medical advancements and evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality care delivery.
    5. Patient Advocacy:

      • Advocate for patients by addressing their concerns, explaining treatment options, and supporting informed decision-making.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
    • Licensure: Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
    • Certification: Board certification in a specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics).
    • Experience: Clinical experience preferred but not always required; new graduates may be considered depending on the clinic's needs.
    • Skills:
      • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
      • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
