    We are looking for a Logistician II to support our customer in Newport, RI. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience:

    Duties:

    • Directly support NUWC Code 3432 Acquisition Lead, responsible for processing Purchase Requests for NUWC Code 34. Prepare daily reports for work accomplished for the Customer.
    • Process Purchase requests, track status and communicate with the customer any changes to their requested delivery dates.
    • Research and review acquisition data, update as appropriate in applicable acquisition databases, and provide required documentation and reports to the acquisition lead.
    • Support NUWC Code 3432 Property/Inventory Management Lead, responsible for inventory management, Government property control.
    • Researching, compiling, developing, writing, editing, coordinating, producing, and facilitating distribution of unclassified and classified documents and reports of a general, administrative, or logistics-related in nature.
    • Responsible for kitting issued material for mast repairs as well as maintaining inventory levels for Pre-expended Ben Material (PEBs).
    • Interface with Government technical project managers and material requestors, as directed, to ensure support provided meets or exceeds all work performance objectives and standards.
    • Must have the flexibility in writing style to adapt to the different types of formats and subject material being produced.
    • Analyze existing local and higher-echelon policies and style guides to ensure concept is compliant with format and content requirements.

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum of four years’ experience in the Navy Supply field and Navy Acquisition procedures.
    • Material kitting and shipping background.
    • Experience with Haystack, One-Touch, NRP/ERP, SAM and MILSTRIP/MILSTRAP procedures is a plus.
    • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Intermediate skills proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
    • Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, to all levels of the customer organization.

    Required Education:

    • High School degree or GED equivalent.
    • Additional formal education or training that is directly relevant to the position responsibilities is a plus.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

    Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $38,958.40-$101,648.64 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
