Job Description

MAXISIQ is seeking a skilled Logistician to support the execution of rapid prototyping efforts in support of defense projects. Assist in managing supply chains, deployment, sustainment, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and support of new defense technologies. This is a full-time position located on Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD with work anticipated March 2025 upon award.

Duties of this role include:

• Assist in managing the logistics lifecycle for prototyping projects, including the acquisition, testing, fielding, and transition of prototypes into Programs of Record (PoR).
• Provide logistical support for the rapid fielding of prototypes, ensuring systems are deployed within the required timeframe.
• Coordinate logistics for new technologies ensuring on-time delivery to operational units
• Assist in managing the supply chain for materials and equipment necessary for projects.
• Track inventory, coordinate procurement, and ensure resources are available to meet project deadlines.
• Support sustainment planning for prototypes delivered to operational units, ensuring the availability of repair parts and technical support.
• Assist in developing maintenance schedules and coordinating with vendors or support teams to keep systems operational during testing and fielding.
• Ensure that all resources, equipment, and personnel are in place for successful execution of tests.
• Support the development of logistics plans for RCCTO projects, ensuring alignment with Army modernization goals and timelines.
• Assist in the integration of new systems and technologies into existing military infrastructures, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and logistics planners, to coordinate logistical needs.
• Assist in managing relationships with suppliers, contractors, and military units to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement:

• Active or current Secret level clearance minimum

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.

Experience:

• 4-8 years of experience in a logistics or related field, that includes
• Logistics experience in a defense or related environment, with a focus on supply chain management, acquisition logistics, or deployment support.
• Experience supporting logistics for defense systems, prototypes, or technology projects.
• Understanding of supply chain logistics, acquisition processes, and maintenance planning.
• Proficiency with logistics software and tools used in defense environments.
• Experience assisting in logistics coordination for complex projects, ensuring timely execution of logistics tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to troubleshoot logistical challenges and contribute to effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination.
