Education / Licensing Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience Requirements : 3-5 years managing cash flow, reporting, accounts receivable and billing.
Position Overview : Responsible for formulating and maintaining effective collection policies, procedures, and standards. Will ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices due to the company and manage the cash application process to ensure all cash receipts are properly applied.

Responsibilities:
- Assures the timely collection of payments.
- Formulates and recommends collection policies and strict adherence to accepted standards.
- Leads the timely and accurate month-end closing of accounts receivable balance and reconciliations of accounts to the general ledger
- Compiles, creates, analyzes and issues a monthly accounts receivables report highlighting monthly results, metrics and key customers.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key individuals across the organization.
- Ensures that policies and procedures are followed in accordance with federal, state and company/department policies and guidelines.
- Recommends and drives process/systems improvements and optimizations on a continual basis.
- Researches discrepancies and resolves open items with diligence and focus.
- Ensures all the coding of bills and invoices is done properly and according to the budget.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required.
