    A DAY IN THE LIFE

    Become a logistics coordinator! Orchestrate and track long-haul shipments, collaborating with brokers, carriers, account managers, and customers. Analyze freight data and movement for potential risks and mitigate them before they escalate. Ensure strong long lines of communication between all stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships. Each day presents unique puzzles that require strong problem-solving skills to navigate industry challenges.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaboration — Ensure a high level of collaboration between brokers, customers, carriers, and other operations personnel regarding the movement of freight bookings.
    • Freight Data Entry — Ensure that freight information is efficiently and accurately entered into the transportation management system (TMS).
    • Freight Tracking — Attentively follow and ensure the smooth and timely delivery of freight to its scheduled destination.
    • Risk Mitigation — Identify, analyze, and resolve potential issues before they escalate and risk effective operations.
    • Problem-Solving — Navigate a dynamic environment where opportunities regularly arise and solve problems as they arise.
    • Relationship Development — Develop strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders including operations teammates, customers, and third-party carriers.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least one (1) of experience in a professional office environment. An equivalent amount of education and experience will be considered.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associate's degree in business administration, business management, or a related field, and at least one (1) year of experience in the transportation or supply chain industry. An equivalent amount of education and experience will be considered.

    SALARY AND SCHEDULE

    • Salary — $20.00 - $24.81 per hour, decided based on experience.
    • Schedule — Full-time; On-Site; Monday - Friday; 08:00 AM – 5:00 PM
