Job Description:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be integral to optimizing our supply chain operations and ensuring efficient inventory management. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will utilize your core skills in logistics and inventory control to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Your premium skills in negotiation and warehouse management will support effective vendor relationships and distribution strategies. Additionally, your organizational abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office will be essential in coordinating logistics activities and maintaining accurate records, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Salary: Based on experience
Responsibilities:
Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
Tracking and fixing shipping errors
Preparing bills and invoices
Managing distribution and shipment budgets
Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
Monitoring operational aspects of the Ocean & Air Department.
Ensuring that daily import operations are performed within client’s standard, procedures and instructions.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all team members, clients and service providers, and partners which include but not limited to Shipping Lines, Airlines, trucking companies…etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 2+ years of experience is preferred.
Knowledge of the CargoWise system is highly desirable.
Experience in Ocean Import/Export and Air Import/Export is an advantage.
Excellent Communication, including writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication.
Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent customer service and client relations skills.
Good collaboration and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes.
Proficient in MS office programs.
Self-Driven & detail-oriented with outstanding organization skills.
Ability to multi -task and operate in highly pressurized environment.
