    SP Distribution is a successful distribution company of juvenile products in the United States. We are seeking a motivated and professional Logistics Coordinator to support the company’s day-to-day domestic logistics operations. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth and efficient logistics processes by assisting with all operational aspects, while being goal-oriented and detail-focused. The candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager to maintain and enhance daily logistics functions.

    Responsibilities:

    Coordinate daily domestic shipping operations to ensure timely deliveries and cost effective process, while supporting the team in decision-making.

    Oversee and support B2B and B2C order fulfillment nationwide, including handling EDI platform and collaborating across departments.

    Assist in negotiating pricing and managing strong relationships with freight companies, forwarders, and small parcel carriers.

    Assist with warehouse operations, including stock management, promoting operational efficiency and collaborating with inventory control and counting.

    Create labels and necessary documentation for domestic shipments.

    Help to coordinate import operations, including ocean freight, customs clearance, and duties

    Analyze operational costs and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    Communicate daily with suppliers to facilitate smooth operations and work closely with the sales and operations team.

    Assist in setting and achieving operational targets.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred)

    3 to 7 years of proven operations, logistics, shipping and warehouse management experience.

    Strong ability to work independently and achieve personal and corporate goals.

    Strong ability to work with other department leads to ensure smooth operations. Always willing to give a supportive hand to your co-workers.

    Must possess ability to lead and motivate team members

    Strong communication (written and oral), leadership and interpersonal skills.

    Highest levels of honesty, integrity, responsibility and professionalism.

    Excellent English reading and writing skills is a must.

    Detail oriented, well organized with effective time management skills.

    Strong knowledge of Microsoft office tools such as Excel, Power Point.

    Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus but not required.

    Understanding of basic accounting principles is a plus but not required.

    Must be a US citizen or permanent resident of the US.

    Needs to be able to lift 40 lbs or more

    Should be able to work standing for a long period of time

    Position Details:

    Job Type: Full-time in our Doral, FL office. Telecommuting is not an option. We offer competitive salary with benefits (medical and retirement), and a friendly, multicultural work environment.
