    About the Role:

    West Coast Trans Alliance, located in Elk Grove Village, IL, is in search of a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as an essential intermediary between account managers and customers, ensuring consistent communication and effective management throughout the entire shipment process. Responsibilities will include monitoring and tracking shipments, providing service solutions tailored to customer needs, and maintaining diligent communication with clients and transport partners.

    Responsibilities:

    Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and transportation partners.

    Track, document and manage shipments throughout their entire life cycle.

    Proactively update customers on shipment status and provide needed documentation as soon as it becomes available.

    Prepare price quotes for different shipping needs as needed.

    Work with sales to make sure we're meeting customer needs.

    Build good working relationships with customers and internal team members.

    Adhere to all needs and/or special requests and/or SOP's specific to each account.

    Coordinate with carriers throughout the shipping process to ensure proper delivery and level of service.

    Be prepared to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Authorization to work in the US

    1-3 years of Logistics experience preferred

    This is an in-person role

    Ability to communicate thoroughly and professionally with all internal/external parties

    Ability to be highly organized/detail-oriented

    Ability to multitask, problem solve and function in a fast-paced environment

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TMS system.
