SUMMARY : WR has an opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to assist with all aspects of production, warehousing, shipping, and material handling for the AN/WSN-9 DHYSL, AN/WSN-11 Master Compass, and other speed sensor programs.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Monitor material requirements and tracks movement with purchasing, production, and warehouses in accordance with defined priorities.
· Coordinate the transfer of material, parts, and finished products between the source and the final destination.
· Input and maintain required property record files and database records.
· Support property physical inventory audits.
· Research various databases to establish material retrieval locations, material sources, and disposition.
· Support federal stock system research programs used to establish manufacturer, part number, and national stock number.
· Review kits for accuracy in support of job orders.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· Three (3)+ years of experience in in logistical tracking, reporting, record keeping, warehousing, material transfer, issuance, and disposition of government and/or commercial property.
· Two (2)+ years supporting government property requirements and/or defense life-cycle material management.
· Two (2)+ years of warehouse experience, to include:
o Performing inventory
o Staging
o Packing
o Storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material
o Operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment
o Utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material
