    • Shift: Fulltime; Salary
    • Job Posting Salary: $85K - $115K plus 15% bonus

    The Logistics Engineer is responsible for the optimization, analytics, and reporting of Domino’s inbound and outbound logistics and supply chain center operations. This role involves using advanced modeling techniques to evaluate and optimize Domino’s transportation and distribution network. The individual in this role would be responsible for utilizing advanced modeling to evaluate and enhance the transportation and distribution network; including Domino’s fleet assets, overseeing logistics data analytics using Business Intelligence tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive performance improvements. Additionally, the Logistics Engineer would prepare and present impactful business operations insights to communicate complex logistics issues to Supply Chain leadership and cross-functional Centers of Excellence (CoE) partners and provide recommendations to create efficiencies and potential cost-savings for the centers.

    Main responsibilities

    • Utilize advanced modeling to assess and enhance the transportation and distribution network, including third-party transportation providers and private fleet solutions.
    • Work alongside Fleet Manager to design and optimize fleet equipment strategy
    • Develop, maintain, and enhance tools to forecast logistics costs at the item level based on the documented network strategy.
    • Use forecasted data to improve actual vs. target and budget performance. Research variances and provide management with trends and recommendations.
    • Assist in designing an optimized, end-to-end transportation strategy.
    • Build and maintain tools to model logistics costs, calculate utilization, and maintain standard work against logistics plans. Support and develop KPIs to improve shipment execution against plans.
    • Support total logistics cost models and conduct ad-hoc studies on various tactical and strategic initiatives, reporting recommendations and results.
    • Perform data validation, cleansing, profiling, and baseline development. Define scenarios for modeling and develop optimization strategies aligned with objectives.
    • Analyze large data sets, perform statistical analysis, and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Contribute to logistics reporting activities using Business Intelligence tools. Monitor KPIs to drive corrective actions and maintain high performance.
    • Develop and improve Logistics engineering tools and methodologies to ensure industry best practices.
    • Perform ad-hoc studies on various tactical and strategic initiatives, reporting recommendations and results to executives.
    • Serve as the SME for logistics data collection and reporting, including ESG data. Represent Logistics and Transportation internally to increase data availability with intent to develop new strategies to improve performance, cost, quality, and service.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in transportation design and optimization software, with a solid understanding of Supply Chain Management principles and strategies (e.g., WinRoute, ArcGIS, Agillence Lean Logistics Optimizer, Llamasoft).
    • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Real-time Transportation Visibility Platforms (RTTVP).
    • Advanced skills in data transformation and visualization tools.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience with SQL, Power BI, or other data collection/representation tools. High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is preferred.
    • At least 3 years of relevant experience in building end-to-end solutions to support performance measurement and process improvement in inventory, transportation, and distribution.
    • Ability to independently manage, collaborate, and support projects from inception to completion through self-supervision, problem-solving, and effective time management.
    • Analytical background with the ability to develop and interpret complex data to drive execution and decision-making.
