A DAY IN THE LIFE!
As a Logistics Freight Planner, you will lead in driving customer success and optimizing freight planning. Your focus will be on managing freight bookings, ensuring seamless communication, and providing exceptional service. You will be the linchpin in reviewing pickups and deliveries, collaborating with our world-class business development and operations team to drive results.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build strong customer relationships by regularly engaging with clients to understand their needs, address inquiries, and identify opportunities for growth..
- Work closely with drivers to provide timely answers to their questions and assist with load details.
- Analyze KPIs and market trends to optimize freight management and enhance profitability within your region.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and a positive experience for both customers and drivers.
- Review and validate customer contract rates to ensure they are accurate and aligned with current market conditions.

- Demonstrated ability to drive profitability and identify growth opportunities.
- Strong communication skills to interact and build strong relationships with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
- Proven track record in managing and nurturing customer relationships.
- Ability to tackle complex challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- The ability to manage your time in a fast-paced environment with regularly shifting deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in business or logistics.
- 5+ years of directly related experience in account management, sales, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience managing staff.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with drivers, customers, operations, and administrative staff.
- Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and understandable manner with the ability to listen attentively to others.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business or logistics.
- 7+ years of directly related experience in account management, sales, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the transportation or logistics industries.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE
- Salary: Up to $100,000 per year, decided based on experience.
- Schedule: Full-time on-site; Monday - Friday; Quarterly on-call rotation.
