    Logistics Associate I

     

    Job Summary:

    Performs quality control, deconstruction, sorting and maintaining flow of materials throughout warehouse.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Physically deconstructing Information Technology Asset Disposition items such as, but limited to, computers, servers, printers, networking gear, phones, tablets, and bulk scrap.
    • Utilizing asset-management Software to record changes such as location and destruction.
    • Placing the proper commodities into bin locations with a high commitment to quality and accuracy.
    • Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities. Materials may be moved from trucks or other transport equipment.
    • Receive materials into an organization and verify materials against invoices to ensure accuracy of the delivery.
    • Count or weigh parts to check quantity accuracy.
    • Pick parts for shipment and package according to shipping procedures
    • Use of material moving equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies to bring products and materials to an appropriate location.
    • Utilize client network to impose configuration settings on computer assets.
    • Basic troubleshooting of PC and PC-related assets.
    • General cleaning and maintenance of warehouse space.

     

    Key Outcomes of the Position:

    Material flows seamlessly throughout process with accurate information maintained in system of record.

     

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • One to two years of experience with basic warehouse material handling preferable
