Job Description
General Purpose:
Tracks materials received at treatment plant in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local hazardous waste regulations and in accordance with our policies, practices and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
· Identifies materials received and completes appropriate paperwork.
· Review analytical data for purposes of shipping of receiving.
· Enters data on computerized tracking database.
· Identifies all incoming waste stream at facility.
· Enters all system required waste tracking information into database.
· Record customer information to ensure compliance with program objectives.
· Maintains computer files, logbooks, and additional records.
· Prepares necessary manifest and land disposal restriction forms and maintains associated filling systems.
· Create and edit reports, including incoming and outgoing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
· Provides clerical support including reception duties, phone coverage, word processing, office supply inventory, computer user support and mail distribution.
· Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
Basic Required Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED
· 2+ years of related transportation/logistics or facility operations experience
· Knowledge of RCRA,DOT, EPA, and State Waste Regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
· Associates Degree with 5+ years transportation/logistics or facility operations experience
· Knowledge of waste routing and disposal of Hazardous Materials
· Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
· Willingness and ability to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel toed shoes, hard hat, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator
· Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers
· Ability to follow directions or instructions
· Ability to use a computer to communicate, create, and access information
