    Position Overview:

    As a Logistics Specialist at Allports Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics department. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data entry, inventory management, and providing support to the logistics team. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and have a passion for logistics, we encourage you to apply.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain data related to shipments, inventory, and other logistics activities into our systems.

    • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is available to meet customer demands.

    • Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.

    • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate information flow.

    • Support: Provide administrative support to the logistics team, including scheduling shipments, coordinating deliveries, and handling customer inquiries.

    • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve logistical issues and discrepancies in a proactive and timely manner.

    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is a plus).

    • Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred but not required.

    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

    • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

    • Knowledge of logistics software and systems are a plus.

    • Bilingual Is a plus

    Monday – Friday

    7:00AM – 4:00PM
