We are looking for Logistics Specialists for our government customer in Huntsville, AL. Candidates must have a minimum of two years' experience in commercial or government Logistical support. Preferred experience in large Government facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for workstation (cubicle/office space) configuration, repair, and miscellaneous work associated with the complete office space set-up, to include receiving service calls from customers, following up with calls to the customer, and entering service calls and repairs into the Logistics Work Order System.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Perform daily repairs, replace broken parts as necessary, and install office furniture to meet requirements of building occupants. create and maintain a listing of reutilized furniture and equipment, to include excess furniture and equipment. Assemble/Obtain parts from, and return excess parts to the warehouse, and assemble/disassemble furniture systems parts for office configurations.
Update multiple orders within Logistics Work Order System.
Provide services for special events, programs, or seasonal observances to support Agency morale, welfare, and recreation programs. Duties shall consist of setting up, decorating, dismantling, and storage for events, including setup and maintenance of flags. Setup responsibilities may include, but not be limited to; tables, seating, props, decorations, speakers, stands, power cables, etc.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time; Ascending/Descending stairs and required to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds frequently; May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
