Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving material deliveries, un-boxing, ensuring contents agree with the delivery note and staging
- Receive equipment and materials at the loading dock, including unpacking, examining and routing incoming
- shipments, identifying damaged items and reporting damages to the Logistics Lead, and recording shortages / inconsistency from order
- Coordinating deliveries and transport requests
- Ensure all hardware is asset tagged and recorded
- Processing hardware warranty/RMA requests within strict timelines
- Maintain an updated and accurate inventory of equipment and all hardware and materials
- Maintain all equipment storage areas in a professional, easily accessible, clean, and tidy manner
- Carry out daily housekeeping checks of all storage areas
- Perform basic installation of rack-mountable IT equipment (rack & stack only) or placement of pre-rack equipment cabinets
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times
- Develop a good working relationship with all members of Supplier staff and the client representatives
- Adherence to all uniform & PPE requirements
- Ensure a professional image is presented at all times
- All other work as assigned by T5 leadership
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- APICS or CILT qualification, preferred
- Understanding of Mission Critical environments, and working restrictions applicable to such environments, preferred
- Previous logistics/supply chain, preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES
- Able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and volunteer readily when asked, required
- Able to handle changing needs and priorities accurately and professionally, required
- Able to work proficiently and safely with hand tools and power tools, required
- Has strong customer service skills, able to work with all a range of personalities and individuals, required
- Has exceptional listening skills, required
- Displays empathy and understanding of customer needs, required
- Has a “can-do” customer service attitude, is conscientious, and takes personal pride in their work, required
