We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics and Procurement Director to oversee and optimize our supply chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Supply Chain Management:
Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution activities.
Procurement Leadership:
Source high-quality, cost-effective raw materials and packaging in line with Eria's standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts.
Ensure ethical and sustainable procurement practices.
Logistics Operations:
Manage domestic and international logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Optimize distribution networks and warehouse operations to meet customer demands.
Monitor and manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
Inventory and Demand Planning:
Implement effective demand forecasting models to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels across all locations.
Cost Optimization:
Identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the supply chain without compromising quality.
Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency and costs.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead and mentor the logistics and procurement teams to achieve company objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and marketing, to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to logistics and procurement.
Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to maintain business continuity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the food industry.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, transportation, and warehouse management.
Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in sustainable and ethical procurement practices.
Knowledge of import/export regulations and international shipping.
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
