    We are seeking an experienced and highly organized individual to join our team as a Logistics and Warehouse Manager. As the Logistics and Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our logistics operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, transportation, and order fulfillment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and smooth flow of goods throughout the supply chain while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Warehouse Management: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, and implement best practices to optimize warehouse layout and workflow.

    Inventory Control: Develop and implement inventory control procedures to effectively manage inventory levels, minimize stock-outs, and reduce carrying costs. Regularly conduct physical inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accurate record-keeping.

    ERP Implementation and Maintenance: Assist with the implementation of the Essent ERP system including inputting of SKUs, file maintenance, and involvement with all implementation calls with the project team.

    Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the transportation and distribution of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to manage inbound and outbound shipments, track delivery status, and resolve any issues that arise.

    Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve logistics and warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Identify opportunities for automation, implement new technologies, and optimize the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).

    Team Management: Lead and supervise the logistics and warehouse team, including hiring, training, performance management, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.

    Supplier and Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, resolve any supply chain issues, and maintain strong relationships. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.

    Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance standards and procedures to ensure that all goods meet the required specifications and are shipped in optimal condition. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.

    Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools and systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on logistics and warehouse performance. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement, track progress, and communicate performance to stakeholders.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    Proven experience in logistics management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.

    Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).

    Solid understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.

    Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

    Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.

    Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to derive actionable insights from logistics and warehouse data.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

    Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in logistics and warehousing.

    Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Proficiency in logistics software and tools.

    Physical Requirements:

    Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.

    Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
