Logistics & Facilities Coordinator
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics & Facilities Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our facility. This role will support various aspects of logistics, facility maintenance, and technical work to ensure smooth business operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, inventory management, and basic technician work, with a focus on maintaining facility standards and managing vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Management & Cleanliness:
Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the facility, ensuring a safe and organized working environment for staff. Coordinate routine maintenance and address any facility-related issues promptly. - Purchasing:
Oversee purchasing activities for office supplies, equipment, and other materials required for daily operations. Ensure cost-effective purchasing strategies and maintain relationships with suppliers. - Inventory Management:
Manage inventory using MS Dynamics 365, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels, supplies, and materials. Perform regular audits and updates to inventory records. - Staging of Equipment:
Prepare and stage equipment for operations and installations. Ensure all equipment is ready for use and staged in the correct areas. - Shipping & Receiving:
Coordinate shipping and receiving processes, including packaging, labeling, and organizing the shipment of goods to clients, partners, or internal departments. - Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with vendors, handling responsibilities such as return merchandise authorizations (RMAs), sim card provisioning, and reordering supplies. Ensure timely and efficient vendor transactions and communications. - Basic Technician Work:
Assist with assembling equipment, creating cables, and prototyping as needed. Perform minor technical repairs and troubleshooting when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience in facility management, purchasing, and inventory management, preferably using MS Dynamics 365.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic technical skills, including assembling and troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize based on urgency.
- Effective communication skills for vendor and internal collaboration.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and vendor management is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require some physical tasks, such as lifting and moving equipment.
- Will work in a dynamic environment with potential for both indoor and outdoor responsibilities.
