Global Supply Chain Development of Engineered Product Components Lone Star is looking for someone develop and manage our global vendors from foundries, machine shops and other sub vendors for parts for our manufactured products. This is both somewhat technical and commercial and a person with some manufacturing/engineering experience is preferred in dealing with the vendor development to make the products we are needing. Activities include the following but are not limited to: * Manage national and international supply chain * Manage and maintain pricing with vendors * Develop new supply chain * Responsible for accurate pricing in ERP * Manage one employee for issuing POs * Prepare purchase orders on behalf of the company * Receive internal purchase requests and review prices and product specifications from various suppliers to determine which would provide the best bid or price. * Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts. * Creating, auditing, and maintaining purchasing files and price lists * Approve bills for payment. * Track deliveries dates an update systems * Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems. * Address supplier and customer inquiries about order changes or cancellations and check requisition orders for accuracy. * Update and maintain Purchase orders that are received * Handle reports with vendors * Audit order logs Preferred Education, Experience & Skills: · Microsoft office, (Excel) · Business Central, NAV or equivalent ERP · Communication (Written and Verbal) · Attention to detail · Self-starter · Computer Skills · 7-10 years of experience + w/international experience of manufacturing/engineering of products requiring foundry's, machine shops, etc - Engineering Degree a Plus About Lone Star Lone Star is a manufacturer of integrally geared, gearless and multistage turbo blowers and compressors with operations around the world.
