The TEACHER agrees to serve the SCHOOL for the number of days in the official school calendar and to perform other duties assigned by the center director; and to work cooperatively with the staff, faculty and administration of the SCHOOL.
The TEACHER shall devote a reasonable amount of out-of-class time to curriculum-development, to sponsoring student activities, student assessments, attendance documentation, classroom set up and design as required by the ECERS scale information gathering and to other duties as assigned by the administrator. This will also include, but not be limited to attending all events required by the regional office of education, including monthly meetings and professional learning communities that may take place outside of normal working hours and during the evenings.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any capacity Ability to pass a though background check Ability to obtain a substitute teaching license Ability to effectively organize and manage your own time to efficiently execute responsibilities and deadlines *Experience with children and knowledge of classroom management are strong preferences, but not required.
